Community is Important to Us!
Bay Port State Bank believes in our communities. It’s where we work and live, so we want the best for our communities.
BPSB started as a local bank in 1896 by Mr. William Wallace of Bay Port, and has remained local – locally owned and managed – with lending operations right here in the thumb. You are our neighbors and friends – decisions are made locally by a Board of Directors that are local as well. We have offices in Bay Port, Pigeon, Bad Axe and Sebewaing.
BPSB takes the word “community” serious. We’re a community bank, not a ‘wall street’ bank – and our employees are encouraged to belong to their community. You’ll find our employees in local organizations and clubs, and working within our schools. We’re contributing AND participating in events in the Thumb – we’re community all the way!
We live, shop and school our children here – we must try to remember to encourage everyone to shop local – keeping our community growing and thriving is what sets us apart from large cities. We believe we’re here to be a part of the communities where we live and work. We want to improve the quality of life in every town in the thumb.
